Superstructure Repairs

Survey and Assessment

A survey would first be carried out and if required work in Partnership with Structural Engineer, this may require removal of plaster and render to expose the full extent of the issues.

A full report and recommendations would then be issued with costs to rectify along with a schedule and programme of works.

Any temporary making safe of the property will also be carried out if required.

Superstructure Repairs

Once the cause of the structural issue has been identified work would commence to rectify.

Subject to Structural Engineers recommendations this could include solutions such Underpinning, Removal and replacement of damaged areas, Installation of Heli bars into the coursework and Stainless steel EML to affected areas.

All works would be left ready to receive new render and plaster in preparation for making good.

Restoration

On completion of repairs the making good and decoration will be undertaken, this could include new painting to brick work, new render or plaster and the installation of Mav Wallrock paper to reduce the risk of fine crack reappearing.

All areas would be decorated and secondary repairs to doors and windows along with any other affected areas.  All areas would be professionally cleaned prior to handover back to the resident.
